Program Logo Design

Program Logo Design involves combining a variety of separate logos and other elements, whether graphic or photographic, to achieve a visual image that conveys the program. Generally program logos are created for sweepstakes or other marketing promotions. The program logo is designed to implement a consistent look for all print materials. In most instances, a total Point of Purchase package will include posters, easel cards, free-standing counter cards, danglers and other signage. At times the program logo will also be utilized on websites.

Four Program Logo projects are presented here.

Central Indiana Chevy Dealers Drive the Distance Sweepstakes – Program Logo
These program logos were for a joint sweepstakes promotion for Chevrolet, the Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers. The basic program logo design was altered slightly for each team. These logos were then incorporated into various P.O.P. pieces - the poster and car topper for the Colts are shown directly at right.

Detroit Pistons / Chevy Dealers Sweepstakes – Program Logo
This logo was designed for Chevrolet and the Detroit Pistons. It was the visual basis for a Sweepstakes promotion, in which the prize was airfare, lodging and game tickets - to fly from Detroit to Washington D.C., to watch the Pistons play the Washington Wizards. The logo was a composite of supplied Chevrolet logos and Piston logo elements, incorporated with artwork and type to arrive at the final design. The logo was then utilized on various P.O.P. pieces - a poster and a car topper are shown here.

Chevrolet Fanatic Sweepstakes – Program Logo
This logo was designed for Chevrolet and the Cincinnati Reds. The selected version was utilized in various P.O.P. materials. The final logo was designed and created utilizing the Chevrolet Bowtie logo, unique type fonts, and custom artwork. It was created utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Other versions are also shown. The final version that was utilized in the promotion is the one in the lower right corner of the page.
